NEWS - READ 11/2001 It's time for me to start making a list of reports concerning activities in the extreme music scene that I want to support. And lately I've been in contact with Fernando Camacho of Black Hole Magazine, who's a cool muhphucka and ever active. He's released 9 of his magazine, it's promade with killer design and most importantly it's full of info and entertaining reviews and interviews. It covers all aspects the real scene including Brutal Death, and doesn't skimp at all on the Gore Grind. It's $7 which may sound steep at first but keep in mind that includes a compilation CD, the best part for me getting to hear 2 unreleased tracks of LYMPHATIC PHLEGM and some advance tracks for the new INTESTINAL DISGORGE CD, also it's great to hear what the guys from HATRED are up to! I use to invite my sorry ass to their rehearsals back when I was a stupid teen deathster fanboy (mind you now I'm in my 20s). Ah, the memories. Oh yeah, so what else is Black Hole up to? Alright if you haven't heard of SMES and you consider yourself a cyber gore fan for stuff like LIBIDO AIRBAG, then you'd best get some cash and envelopes to shop for some sick items cuz SMES is so bomb. Fernando's all new Black Hole Productions has released its first item which is a SMES CD-R. I'm a little stumped on how much it costs right now but at any rate find out. On top of that there is a SMES T shirt! And any day now the LYMPHATIC PHLEGM T shirt will be here for all you lovers of eviscerated visuals and any desire to sport a flashy pathological gore grind shirt. Fernando is also a designer and has been doing some wicked works for only the sickest CDs, -probably some magazines and flyers/posters as well. Do you remember looking at the INTESTINAL DISGORGE, new FLESH GRINDER or DECOMPOSING SERENITY/VOMITO CD and thinking "Damn that's disgusting!" Well we owe that to Fernando, to commend his accomplishment in making me sick, he doesn't mess around with the semi-gory or perverse, there is no limit on what he does and doesn't hesitate to go all the way. His talent doesn't stop at just perverse gore and repulsive images, he has a knack for layout and can whip something up that will hold your sight to it for a bit, listen to a sick release and find yourself gazing at the images, get that gore euphoria going where macabre fascinations fill your eyes and ears (get some fried chitlins for your mouth if you like). If you are looking for a hand with design on anything Fernando should be on your mind for making a decision. At any rate, Black Hole is here to cater to the real freaks with his acts, holding a tight circle in Brasil with the likes of Lofty Storm and some great gore bands. You should definitely check out his releases, and buy his magazine. And distributors interested in adding on some of these nasty items, Black Hole would appreciate your support! I almost forgot, BHP will be releasing some GROSS CD-Rs with new layout, and will be one of the main labels for GROSS releases for those interested. No that's not why I just wrote a page about his activities, even though I'm grateful for the support, GROSS release or no, Black Hole is all around a great outlet that deserves attention. Issue 10 is in the works so keep your eyes out. Fuck The Scene Productions is Ern of VOMIT SPAWN's label for only the sick and extreme! DIY CD-Rs with about as good presentation as DIY gets. Last I heard Ern is out of a job and probably can't manage trades, but the CD-Rs are $6 US / $8 World, and cassettes are $4 US / $6 world, so if you want these items, shell out!
