DYSENTERY 9/2001 1. Hi Mark! How is life right now? How is the band doing? And is your son collecting road kill yet? Will you raise him to be patron of the dark world/music? Mark: Hi Lee! To this time I must go to the fucking work - but I need money. I rehearse regular with the other members and we play some gigs. The little Jeff is a real cool guy - just my son - I think he make his way. He listen often CARCASS and he banging the head. 2. You've gotten ready a full length album! Present this work please! Is it self-released or are only promotional copies made thus far? What should the audience expect? Mark: This album includes songs from 1996 - 1999. It's self released and self produced. We publish this album only for fans and friends. (That means one of you death metal labelsl should wise up and release it for the larger crowds! -Lee) The album called "SPHERES OF INSANITY". The songs have a very extensiv spectre. You must listen!!! 3. It's clear that you're CARCASS fans! If another tribute to the Gods was made, which song would DYSENTERY contribute to it? What other bands have inspired you in some way? Mark: Oh, yeah!!! Our gigs include ever an Carcass-song. We play "Keep On Rotting In The Free World" and "Fermenting Innards" and sometimes "Go To Hell". For a tribute-album we would play "Heartwork". Besides Carcass we inspired from Kreator just the 80's thrash bands from germany. 4. Germany is a true metal kingdom! What bands from Germany, old and new would you recommend? Mark: Oh, a good question. Okay: Old: Kreator, Destruction, Exhumer, Living Death, Assassin, Deathrow New: Progeria, Golem, Svart 5. How is the response to DYSENTERY in the underground? Mark: I think we have a good place by our fans, we play not to often - this is important for the interest on DYSENTERY. 6. Describe the perfect woman. Mark: I believe Pam Anderson is a perfect woman. (Tommy Lee knows it! -Lee) 7. So what do you think of HAEMORRHAGE? Mark: Good stuff in old school carcass-area. 8. If DYSENTERY made a music video, what would it be like? Mark: We think a live gig with some sick scenes would be a good video. 9. Describe your dream vacation. Mark: 2 weeks with Pam Anderson in the rehearse-room. 10. Thanks Mark! Final words please!
