CAFARD/CORPORAL ABUSE Cripple Bitch Squad CBS from Japan was sick enough to pair up two totally raw and very cult French bands! CAFARD is really sick and aggressive, sloppy and disgusting porngoregrindnoise! Really, the description fits, a lot sounds kind of improvised but still not so loose that it sounds like just pure noise! It's sick and not real shabby! It has a gore death sounds a lot of times when the members start slowing it down to a raunchy and pissed off groove. Some cool French horror/porn/whatever intros are here! I could make out parts from "Dead Alive" and "The Goonies"! I don't know French yet but even hearing the dubbed language I could tell it was the part where granny and her convict kids have Chunk and ask him to talk, and he tells his life story half-crying and gets in to how he "pooped on the floor and blamed it on the dog"! Classic! Right up my alley with the cult and totally unmarketable gore nastiness sound for this act, wonder where they'll go next? Gore to the next level and get a little more serious or will this be it? I think they have another demo... CORPORAL ABUSE, this one surprised me, porn noise something, it's noise alright! Anything goes, long stretches of weird sounds meshed together in an annoying and abusive onslaught of dementia, then just when you think that's all there is to it on comes the really low fi weird grind/crust shit, like a slew of random material slapped onto one tape side! First the cover; it's a less-is-more stye, a simple drawing depicting intercourse with the severed neck of a disemboweled and limbless female cadaver, yeah!!! How about that? No titles or info, that's it! But you can't help but love it! I haven't listened to the entire tape yet but it's A.W.'s signature style of straight up gore-grinding noise! Vulgar vocal vomits matched with harsh and pounding drum programs with a filthy guitar playing cheesy and dirty riffs! Raunchy and horrific grinding sickness just the way I like it! So filthy as always, reminding me of dirty grind bands like REGURGITATE or GORE BEYOND NECROPSY! This is a different SPLEEN than the one that had a split tape with HATRED SURGE and a demo released on Tasteless Shit Records (R.I.P.). This is something original! At first sight you may think it's a total underground DIY gangsta rap demo judging by the gangsta yos on tha cover! But no, this isn't another NECRO, this is total gore noise! The slick/cool gangsta imagery, which may throw some off or not make sense to others doesn't surprise me as this is an act by my nigga Joseph (I think?) who's shared some thoughts on sick death rap like BRUTHA LYNCH HUNG and RAIDED X with me, but he's big on brutal death and gore grind! This is totally noisy and low fi sickness, a horrid deep and guttural grooowwwllll over a spastic drum attack and some guitar sludge! Songs are Short! Somewhere between short noise/grind songs and gore grind attack! Song titles based on violence and chaos and mental derangement! Even I'm a little confused though, "John's" on guitar and vocals and "Chris" is on drums. Is Joseph really on this? I think these may be false identities to avoid authorities and keep a low profile! DYSMENORRHEIC HEMORRHAGE/GYNOPHAGIA Kinetic Sleaze You should already know something of what I have to say about this, being a split tape combined of two of my favorite bands, DH being probably one of the best gore grind bands out now, and GYNOPHAGIA being a total cyber gore o-pus! Let's begin, DH starts with an instrumental that sent my chemicals into such a fury I got that "made of steel" feeling that usually comes with enough whiskey! You know how if musick is good enough you actually get a chemical buzz? It reminded me of CARCASS' "Genital Grinder" and sure enough after a mean gore-groove introduction on came the attack of the most raging and heavy gore grind ever! As expected, Kyle's badass drum programs and razor-edged filth riffs and the vomitted distorted and very ugly vocals! I can't believe  what a great band Kyle manages to pull off all by himself! GYNOPHAGIA is up next and without a doubt is a great follow up to the DH experience! Sho 'nuff sleazy and evil synth programming with cyber/real/vulgar/inhuman vocals growling disgusting lyrics (which aren't included but the titles should give you the right idea!). Techno/gabber slices of sickness that will make your day! Killer stuff! Perfect match of gore grind and cyber gore, a must have! Get it for $3 US/$4 World from Embryo / Kinetic Sleaze! Squid Sperm Compilation Kinetic Sleaze Embryo put out this wacked noise compilation! I'll do the best I can! Here goes: ASPERSIVE WORM: weird repetitive noise with a tripped-out monologue over it (already I can tell this would go good with smoking something first but I was stone sober so maybe I'm not the best for this!), MIZUKO: Noise and sounds, shit I can't remember details! NAKED INSECTS: Retarded and weird, VAGINAL DISCHARGE: Hell yeah! Killer punk/acoustic hilarity! Good for SOCKEYE fans! THE EARWIGS: Squealing carcrash monotone and playschool toys going nuts and a distant screaming retard! MAN BECOMES WOMAN: THE EARWIGS: INSOMNIA: Spaced out, MERMAID IN A MANHOLE: rockin' feedback static sludge freakage to blasts and some vomitted growls totally at random! CARNAL HEDON COITUS WITH LARRY LUNK LUTHER: Space out droning and hypnotic soundscapes! SONIC DISORDER: Spaced out and eerie, ANAL BIRTH: Sick and brutal Gore Noise!, FUCK THE FACTS: Combo of abstract noises and distorted insanity, PISSED OFF ORGASM: more lunatic mesh of noises and slowed down  rantings "What the fuck do you think this is a fucking game?" and some death/rock being played in the distance! EFFLUVIUM: cheesy gore grind a la GUT by me, released now as GROSS for the "Black market body parts" CD-R, DARTH MALE: More insane random space sounds and clutter/clanking! EVOLUTION CONTAMINATION: Radio shit with background noises like listening to someone's acid trip with the radio on, SLOAR: Just like ANAL BIRTH! Blasting grinding gore noise! Okay, sorry but noise is tough for me to review due to it's random and non-traditional elements, trying to review from memory makes the multiple combinations of sounds tough to profile in complete! Check out this insane tape! Of course for being a gore freak my fave parts of this is ANAL BIRTH and SLOAR, but all together pretty freaked out! Get it from Kinetic Sleaze! THE EARWIGS/MERMAID IN A MANHOLE Kinetic Sleaze Another freaked noise tape spewed by Embryio of K.S.! This was my first EARWIGS listen! Best described here as total smaced-out fuzz and squeals droning into your head, the soundtrack to an LSD trip that doesn't get too out of hand! Smoke something first! MIAM this time is very memorable and does a session of something less spastic and artistically touches a completely cult and unique listen! He told me it was compared to sewage like MORGUE FETUS, and something droning and sewage style like BLACK MAYONNAISE, and that's the best way to look at it. Distant but heard clearly, somewhat mellow cyber drum style softly sickening, total deep and hollow emissions, kind of gore, more psycadelic sickness! Strewn over to beef up the weirdness is a sound that I can not iddentify! I'm pretty sure that it's not a synth of the drum machine, and I don't think it's any guitar effect, though it could be. The best way to describe it is the pulse of a lite saber from Star Wars! An electronic hum/pulse that seems to flow and groove slightly with the drum sounds. You could call this some real abstract gore grind, or cyber gore, it's very trippy and zoned but almost along the track of those genres! Sick and bizarre gore titles also! So the imagery fits!
