DEAD INFECTION "Dead singles collection" Timmy!!! Records Here's a great item for fellow fanatics of the monumental Gore Grinders! This is a compilation of 7" EP material and some live tracks from the ultra rare "Grind Over Europe '96" tape! It has the tracks from their splits with CSSO and MALIGNANT TUMOUR after they started using stupid song titles while remaining ultra brutal and gory! These 11 songs could make up for the third album which never happened due to the band's breaking up! Then we have the 4 tracks frome their split with BLOOD, the "Party's Over" one with that wonderful intro taken from the classic lawnmower scene of Dead Alive aka Braindead! The earlier recordings of some songs from  their "A Chapter of Accidents" CD. Then the live tracks. The layout is B&W with basic design, featuring covers from the 3 splits and a small band photo. Also an add for the upcoming MCD of SPINELESS "Ode to Gore", the new band created by Cyjan; the drummer and founder of DEAD INFECTION! This of course is an uplifting bit of information! Something I'm already excited for! The cover is a wicked and chaotic drawing of deformed fetuses and rotten corpses enshrouding the gravestone of DEAD INFECTION! Yes! The CD is nearly a half hour in 20 tracks. My only wish is that maybe they'd released some even more cult material to chronicle the band, like the live tape from '95 originally released by Obliteration Records. And maybe even the live tracks from the split tape with INFECTED PUSSY, even though the quality wasn't great, it's a good selection for true fans! But hell, who cares! This CD is great! Other than looking out for SPINELESS I've ordered the CD-R by COFFEE GRINDERS, the new grind band by Jaro and another former member! So watch for the review on that! DECOMPOSING SERENITY "Give the Children Her Severed Head"/VOMITO "Obsessive Compulsive Necrosadism" Lofty Storm Marco Moriguti is not only a cool guy but someone you can trust to only release what the real freaks are dying to hear. Lofty Storm releases are always presented in a very stylish and disgusting, professional package, and each time the music featured is the sick stuff, he doesn't mess around with releasing bands just because they're popular! This time is of course no acception. DECOMPOSING SERENITY is definitely one of my favorites, in fact back in the day, GROSS was formed with the intentions of a small tribute to the insanity that Witter filled my head with! GROSS is still different, let's talk about D.S. Programmed drums that are both tight and technically laid out and faster than ever. The beats are seering and relentless while accompanied by heavy guitar whirlwind, complete with sexy grooves. Screeching over the mayhemic grind are maniacal vocals like "demon choking on a fairy"! They don't sound like anything a human could make! VOMITO, for those of you not in the know, is Brasil's gore-ridden Grind band that's released a few demos, a split live tape with CARNAL THUMOR, and a split EP with MALIGNANT TUMOUR on Bizarre Leprous Productions. I wrote Leo not too long ago to see how things were going but haven't heard back from him, hopefully the band is still alive! If I hear from him maybe I can get an interview for Pus Vomit! True patrons of the Gore Grind genre having been born of IMPETIGO and CARCASS fandom, subject matter consists of pathology and down-and-out cadaver rape and mutilation! VOMITO rules, no matter how little you seem to hear about them. Thanks to Lofty Storm that should change! This split CD is a must! If the combo of necrophiliac insanity isn't enough, scope out the art layout by Fernando Camacho! Colorful compositions of dismembered baby dolls and reality death photographs. Reassembled facial tissue of unfortunate victims, a headless torso and a dissected cranium! Any gore freak's dream shroud of the macabre! Brasil - 88.010-970 GONNORRHEACTION "Rilth - 01" If you live for the sickest and foulest of Gore Grind ever, here you have one that will leave a real deep mark. This two man band, featuring a vocalist/guitarist and a real drummer (for those who are whining about drum machines, unlike me!) will gore its way into your torso like a mutated parasite that lodges itself in your guts and releases the vile enzymes that make you the gore-addicted freak that makes up the Gore Grind scene. Somewhere between GUT and REGURGITATE, a work of Gore so great that you simply can't miss it. No samples have I heard so far, heavy, very dirty sounding guitar that boasts seriously sexy riffs that groove in a great, filthy manner. Ranging from the blast to blast whilst maintaining a totally catchy sound. The splattered vocals are nothing short of coughing masticated intestines into a bucket, perhaps? Well it's not hard to imagine when you hear it. Pitch shifter, and maybe some are real vocals because the style alters from time to time, but all variations are deep and chunky like the puke I save in jars. The packaging is totally DIY, black and white copied booklet and CD-R format. I am never concerned with the quality and expense of packaging as lont as it is sick, and let's not forget that if the music is sick that's what matters! Of course mind you, the cover features a pan of fried vulvas, any pussy/gore lovers favorite meal. It's always in good taste to eat your human flesh/organs with some table manners as MORBID SAVOURING will tell you. Let's try to be civilized people! Porno Gore song titles, very nasty indeed. What gets me is that on their website they say that they are sold out! How do you sell out of CD-Rs? As I write this the disgusting opus and total masterpiece of cult sickness is available on Necroharmonic's distro. Check there for availabilty! This band gets my best recommendations and please support them, because by sticking with this band you are sticking with the real stuff! Pure Gore in its most vile form! INTESTINAL DISGORGE "Drowning in Rectal Sludge" Lofty Storm Further proving LS as a source for only the sickest comes this release of what I think may be Texas' only Gore Grind band! And that doesn't mean they're anything short of one of the most foul and disgusting acts ever! They are! Each track a meaty dosage of brutalizing drum blasts and a severely raw and harsh guitar distortion both noising your senses in uncomfortable ways, to midpaced groove riffs which maintain a good blend of catchiness to go with the noise! Some tracks use a drum machine! The vocals don't let up, they went all out and did nothing half-assed here, variating growls and pukes, combined with even an insane "bitch scream"! It sounds more like a girl being cut open while still alive than anything one might consider "singing"! This stuff will scare anyone away, good for testing the endurance of any KORN faggot that thinks they've heard it all. Only the purely sick at heart will be able to survive to the end and love every sickening second of it! Songs about guts, crap, bizarre death and other assorted filth! And for such young bastards! How could one not be impressed? I wish I'd been that sick in high school! Well I was but didn't have a band! People were too gay. The imagery of this CD's layout is, well you'll love it and hate it at the same time! Well, we listen to sick grind for, sickness right? But with each photo of mutilation we become stronger in our stomachs and more open to the harsh realities of our own existence. But are you ready for this? How much reality SHIT photos can you handle? That's why I love it, it makes me want to puke! And I hate it because, it makes me want to puke! "You're loyal to the gore... That's good." Ah the beauty of ugliness, and a band like INTESTINAL DISGORGE to dish it out for us. Hail!
