Bizarre Vinyls CD Bizarre Leprous Productions/Disgorgement of Squash Bodies From the lable that brought you 100 other of only the best gore grind releases ever comes a real treat. Get here a nice dose of brutality from UTOPIE with an intro, 2 songs (one the ol' "Short Erection" noise number) and a DISRUPT cover. Gore grind like IMPETIGO or GUT or maybe MORTICIAN, otherwise freaking awesome band. AUTOPHAGIA I believe is a one man band from Greece blasting and puking a sort of DEAD INFECTION style, played so freaking perfect to the gore grind style, done so well, that I love the material and so should you. Nice gore/pathology titles. SQUASH BOWELS have a kind of muffled sound quality but yeah, as you should know pure dirty grind assault with plenty a gore sound full of aggression. I cna never get into their titles but who cares cuz the band is awesome! A cover of GUT, hooray! BRUTALITY REIGNS SUPREME, for those of you who haven't read other reviews on my Pus Vomit Webzine, should know that they area  gore grind band boasting a sadistic sound that is not to be underestimated! SEXORCIST veterans created BRS out of love or only in the midst of trend jumpers misrepresenting genres as they come and go, BRS retains the violence of the purest in sick music. Evil harmonized vox that should make Mansonites go hide in the closet they came out of. Tight, wicked drum programs and a sharp guitar that ought to cut into your senses the way you like to have your mind mangled. TWISTED TRUTH has several sick songs all on one track! Crusty sounding gore grind, it was my first chance to listen to this band and they're awesome! REGURGITATE fans like myself will dig. DECOMPOSITION is final with no exception to gory brilliance, here with a dose of early CARCASS style grind with harmonized vox and then some retching highs, for those of you who can't stop spinning "Reek of Putrefaction", you'll definitely want to stick with this one! So much of what I love, it's overwhelming! 10 (For Black Hole Magazine) ASTRUM "Kataklysm" Cripple Bitch Squad Hells yeah! The whole techno gore sewage thing seems to be really catching on, not in a trendy way mind you, sick minds here and there are cranking some very catchy and totally spaced-out electro-vibes with vomit spewage nastiness swirled into the psychadelic mix! You should know GYNOPHAGIA, SMES, LIBIDO AIRBAG, MICROPHALLUS if you sweat the cyber sickness like my cracker ass does, so you better check out ASTRUM right away! The sounds are techno drum weirdness pulse vibes, and some wicked sounding sampled industrial thrashing riffs! It's like gore dance music also, it's got a killer beat but strays from the utter gayness of all that fucking crap that mainstream raver techno shit has turned into. In an email to Stephen of GYNOPHAGIA I mentioned how back in high school I tried asking friends about band recommendations for some SICK industrial bands, of course all they let me hear was total crap, so I gave up! But the current gore grind/experimenting artists have really hit the hammer on the head of what I always envisioned as the perfect blend of evil and sick synth music! It makes me more happy to see my illa-killa friend Masaaki from CBS release this! It's great! DIY CD-R packaging, totally pshchadelic layout! The titles are hard to read but that doesn't matter because they look so cool! You'll get visual enjoyment trying to read them! A big colorful mushroom on the back, wonder what that means?-Hahaha! Sound quality varies, guitar crap, drunken vocals, ridiculous and hilarious samples, chipmunk voices, cheeze, hilarity! Haha, dig the sampled accordian with the funny as hell chipmunk idiocy preaching some incoherent childish nonsense while half-singing, what the fuck? Hell yeah! Maybe JC will save my soul by sending me some info for the noiseheads who want it! KALIBAS/AS THE WORLD BURNS Split CD-R Demo 2000 KALIBAS: Raspy retching vocals something like black death? Killer thrashing black death with killlller metal riffs, but the vocals are real evil and nasty, like if PANTALONES did a death project! Tight drums with fast parts that turn to killer death parts and then back again. Duo vocals delve more into the hateful, raw but slightly mid-tempo roars. 3 tracks from these maniacs! ATWB: Getting even more melodic death, despair and darkness, pretty cool if you ask me but tainted to those who hate the gothic/melodic sound. It's reminiscent of so many of the earlier death/black bands, but fuck me in the goat ass I can't think of the right one to name! Again I'm not the best with older death and which ones were like this or like that. Anywho, ATWB is real despairing death full of tragedy, play it when you want to mope and feel bad! Very depressing at times, then parts get faster which brings me up and feel better. The music isn't total sappiness just cuz it's melodic death, dealing more with manmade thoughts than primal aggression, it's got balls, but for those already wondering why they read this review, you should move on if it's not what you're interested in! I say that with all due respect to the bands, I'm just saying that as the editor of a gore grind 'zine, knowing a lot of people tend to loathe anything melodic or structured!
