| MEATKNIFE "Brutalized Blowjob" Noise Variations Well, what have we here? Something atrocious and reeking of blasphemous depravity, presented in a repulsive package full of gore and obscenities, it is MEATKNIFE! Let's talk about the music contained on this disc, starting with music taken from some movie tat implies the oncoming of dread and terror, then the filthy and vile gore grind storms in. It brings to mind acts like LAST DAYS OF HUMANITY, and you'll probably at times think of GUT and maybe dashes of MORTICIAN. And this CD is so fantastic that it ranks with those meisters of macabre! Production is of that perfect medium of good sound yet totally raw and heavy! Vocals are of course the horrid harmonized low gurgles. Drums rock out, belting blasts to fills to some chillin' midpace action when the band slows for a moment of rotting groove. Guitars are low and heavy like rotten guts but not so distorted that you can't hear the wicked riffs! This maintains the band a seriously catchy groove in the midst of their utterly splattastic style. Horror intros prepare the feel of the gore and horror, let it be known that MEATKNIFE is in the elite group of most extreme and putrid bands out now! 16 tracks. The cover is some perverse necro-erotic nastiness that should appaul any pussy that accidentally is exposed to this seriously deranged release! This sickened cover and layout is done by Thomas of Necromaniac magazine. There will soon spew a split CD with none other than Japan's funky grind freaks C.S.S.O., and if I rememer correctly, the bands are to tour Japan soon with my good fiend Andy from ANAL WHORE for the trip! Much like the above review so I'll keep it simple, gore grind, heavy and sick with all the similar elements, definitely a must-have if you loved that latter CD! Groovin' gore with thick riffs and good production (maybe not as good as "Brutalized..." but still damn good!). Reality gore pics about the twisted packaging! Horror intros, this one has 12 songs including a cover of MORTICIAN's "Slaughterhouse"! CUNT GRINDER "...The Day of Judgement" This seems to be a self release, project of some members of PROFANATAION I believe? Extreme, brutal and raw! Full of humorous and horrific intros, growling, crusty and sometimes a little gory vocals, blasts and then some midpaced parts. Raw and filthy grindcore, a bonus track that is a dedication to a friend of theirs which is slow, doomy and ambient with keyboards and churchbells, very interesting and a good remembrance idea. It lasts for nearly 10 minutes! 20 tracks alltogether, some are taken from their original demo CD. The crossed-out peace sign is a nice touch! And a cover of pig carcasses at the butchery! Wicked drum compositions over the well-thought songs! Sick low growls and high screams, this reminds me much of the ingredients featured in the other killer sick death band I've heard recently, PUTRID PILE! Fulci movie intros to set the sickened atmosphere, cadaver cover and freaking stomach-upsetting old man covered in poop graphics inside! Very nice find! Here are two repulsive bands fashioned by one person for each with a drum machine spurting wicked porno grind with rotting gurgle vocals and vile, grooving riffs of evil with the slightest dash of death to make this low-fi DIY recording very enjoyable and utterly sick! A.P. blasts and grooves with a totally gory manner but the sleazy perversity brings to mind something like CREAMFACE or ANAL WHORE, with less noise and more death! The raw, bad recording gives this DIY piece of filth real charm! B.T.B. I believe uses all natural growls, exceedingly putrid! Very similar to A.P. with blasts and gurgles a plenty with very catchy death styled grooves laid into the disgusting mix! It's song titles focus more on gore, hatred and murder! This is one sick piece of grind with 7 songs from each band, and track 15 is a combo of both bands for one sick track! Depraved and sleazy! AMOEBIC DYSENTERY/DWARFOPHILE/GROSS/NECROBESTIALITY Split Coprophiliacs Anonymous Productions A disgusting dosage of foul have we here, like 4 demos served on one depraved slab, this CD-R is a must! Due to lack of rescources the layout was done fairly DIY, which is just fine, looks raw even though the bands are not just another noise combo but quality gore grind! (Don't take that the wrong way, I love noise, what I mean is that it may look very ghetto for the actual quality of the sick bands!) Starting with A.B., probably his grindiest material so far, all has impressed me, even his original "hitting the computer desk for drums" recording! (Am I easily amused or what?) But this is the fastest and most chaotic, but still tight in the grind context, computer programmed drums, horrid and funny vocal effects, from chunky soup barf to the silly retarded robot ones! Reminds me of somewhere between GUT, DEAD INFECTION, and Will's own raunchy sense of humor! Appropriately starting with an intro from Southpark where Cartman makes Scott eat his parents! I LOVE that episode so I was happy he picked that sample! More from Howard Stern "Private Parts" and "Clerks" etc. Cool-as-hell covers of GUT and LAST DAYS OF HUMANITY! 12 songs in all, for your own sake don't miss this already under-rated taste of AMOEBIC DYSENTERY! (Funky aftertaste??) DWARFOPHILE, hehehe, um, pure and utter cheese! Thrashy guitars playing sad melodies with gore vox, back to the black/death/gore grind with gory vox, and high screams so ridiculous that I think it wins over all the other silly girly screamers out there for hilarity! Weird and interesting blend of metal and sickness, done with, yeah, talent! This may not float with too many people, honestly, this reminds me a good deal of A.B.! As I believe Will and this guy are pals! Tracks range into more gore grind territory as it moves along, all while keeping a consistency of cheese and raunchy humor! GROSS is a downside here just because I'm not happy with my attempt to take on the styles of NUNWHORE COMMANDO 666 and CATASEXUAL URGE MOTIVATION! Noisy cyber style gore that I'm just not satisfied with but isn't so bad as to spoil this CD-R! The recording experience is memorable though, recording in my bitch's apartment. NECROBESTIALITY is the final awesome one man gore grind band with yes, drum programs! Blasting and tight, really much like the first 2, complete with dirty and funny intros. There's an undeniable attraction to the feel of D.S. and all of Witter's creative, demented talents. D.S., as always, takes the likes of extreme music and does something like no other band, portraying the genre of sick grind with his own excellent imaginative style. It's demented and dark-humored, genius in its simplicity! For example, the cover being another bloodied and mutilated baby doll with a grasshopper stuck in its mouth, how childish! -But it's great! Song titles go along the same context, gleefully twisted, bringing a tone with the grooving grind a feel of your favorite childhood Halloween special! This sick CD consists of 2 new recording sessions, the latter I believe was for an EP that was never released, I believe called "Cease to Breathe when it's Dead"? Then 4 funky songs from another session. Also, for those who missed the split EP with VISCERA or the "Rectify the Anal Bombshell" demo, surprise! Here they are in all their raw and insane glory! Very cult, boasting the original grooving, noisy texture. The newer material is composed superbly, bringing in very "Spooky" synth sounds and what I think are keyboards! Also some twisted intros that again remind me of the Halloween spirit! The bass has a rocking groove, vocals are demented retches with the scary monster low croaks forming a duo, drum programs nothing short of twisted genius-going from lightning fast and maniacal to suttle and chilled out, all in an unpredictable and spastic way. DECOMPOSING SERENITY is just too good to not be heard, truly a grind phenomena that will invoke all the things that make dark art so damn fun and beautiful! (I don't mean that in a theatrical way, it's an expression kid, sorry!) 40 songs in all, too much flare to round up all the unique qualities of the composures in one review! A must own!
