REEK OF SHITS "I Can Feel Your Wounds Are Bleeding..." Bizarre Leprous Productions
This hasn't gotten a whole lot of exposure but I just heard that Impaired Webzine has an interview! This is a CD to own by all means. GUT influence is plenty present as the descriptions explain, and it carries that tradition in its truly vile presentation! You may slightly even get the feeling of LIVIDITY or one of those very sick death bands but this is no doubt the porngore grind a la raunchmeisters GUT, MUCUPURULENT, PURULENT SPERMCANAL etc.! Totally heavy gore spew edged with barbaric grooves powered by hateful riffs that make you want to kill! The music is sick and will get you going, ready for the blasting sickness that stirs plenty of maniacal gorefied chaos into the mix! Vocals are croaking grunts with some raspy retches here and there, and even the distorted vomits that sound like they're coming from inside a toilet! Twenty tracks of perverted porno gore with some cool intros of people dying here and there, they cover two GUT songs! Well, they cover "The Taboo Room", and "Consequence" which I've seen others cover and credit to GUT, but wasn't that song by ULCEROUS PHLEGM? Wait! After all those excellent tracks there are sixteen more from their second demo! That is a major plus! Each song title in broken English portrays all the perverse pathological genital mutilation butchery infection that makes my day complete. Packaging adorned with mutilated faces and a collection of bloody band photos. Owning this blood-soaked piece of purulence makes me a happy guy.

BLOOD DUSTER "Cunt" Relapse
"Str8 Outta Northcote" I liked, it was sick and groovy but yeah the "less grind and more rock" thing didn't flow with me well enough to bring it to the level that I listened to "Yeest" with. Actually, a lot of you said that the full length release just plain sucked! I still thought it was sick but again, not completely what I'd want in a grind CD, but here they went back to their roots and play the rockin' groove filled grind that I think comes to a band like BLOOD DUSTER naturally. Super sick and darkly humored lyrics and song titles with raunchy rocking guitar riffs, the vocals are almost coherent but still real sick, don't forget that similarity to PUNGENT STENCH! As before the groove, the nasty and the grind all balance out perfectly for a great CD! I love their morbid sense of humor, they didn't let me down, a necrophilia song is here! Some songs are just poking fun at all the fucking retards that surround us in society! You know, KORN wigger "metal" losers, the little preaching PC faggots regurgitating all the idiocy that MTV and all the vegan commie shit bands force fed their sorry asses. BLOOD DUSTER is still what every one loves them for, their sick sense of humor and abliity to have a ball with sick music without being weighed down by taking themselves too seriously or by letting homos in the scene damper their spirits! Nineteen songs in almost a half hour, the last track is their cover of "Dis-organ-ized" by IMPETIGO from the Wizards of Gore tribute CD, some more silly and dirty intros from comedy flicks etc. Hellz yeah!

AMOEBIC DYSENTERY "Floaters and Sinkers" self released
I'd been waiting for this one! As much as I am repulsed by the fecal image! For those of you who read my review on INTESTINAL DISGORGE you know that I both hate it and love it for how it makes me sick! Distorted gory chuck-ridden vocals burping vulgarity, remember when Extreme Scene came out with their slew of the most putrid gore grind ever tinged with a little death crunch and chock full of filth? This is right in that same vomit bag of delight! The drum machine is tight and real cool sounding, there's no doubt it's a machine when you hear it but the cyber blasts you have to love! Great programming! Fucking awesome riffs! Really SLOUGH and ANAL GETAWAY fans will love it for it's completely depraved vibe combined with awesome, slightly death grooved riffs, to me I love it! One difference is just a bit how it effects me, where SLOUGH and ANAL GETAWAY managed to disturb me, help me vent aggressive feelings and give me pleasure through sick sounds, AMOEBIC DYSENTERY still does all this but so often the cheesy feel will make you want to laugh! As Will said; "It's not to be taken seriously." That doesn't mean that it doesn't kick ass! But you're bound to smile at the hilarious intros/outros taken from Southpark, Beavis and Butthead, Hank the Pissed-Off Dwarf vs. Beetlejuice on Howard Stern, "This Is SPINAL TAP" and even some classic lines from "Wayne's World" and "Austin Powers"! I guess the first intro is taken from the actual D'Amato flick "Porno Holocaust". Lots of lewd toilet sound effects, and the vocal effects even get this wacked retarded robot sound for parts! Sounds a little like the ones LYMPHATIC PHLEGM used for their first demo. Cover art of a healthy poop dwelling in the toilet (he thanks a dude for the pic!? Hahaha!!), hilarious poop/vomit/perversion/bestiality titles, many involving my hero Steve Urkel, haha! Classic... They're a great read! One man gore grind with killer riffs, vile vocals and tight drum layouts! Holy dooky as I write I'm listening to this I'm hearing the last track which gets into a slow acoustic part, weird! Fans of cheesy perverted grinding gore filth excrement check it out! E-mail

P.S. I think this is the band that Drew of thee almighty cybernasty MICROPHALLUS pointed out one time that it wasn't pure gore grind or something, I talked with him later on IM and he told me it was taken as a slam, but I know it was only a comment! Puke on to all...

SMES "Goregasmic Tales From Technophobia" Black Hole Productions
If I got 3 hours alone in the morgue with all the dead girls in it I think that might describe the kind of fun that SMES is! Hell SMES could be the soundtrack to that! Black Hole Productions kicks off it's first release in the form of one of my most beloved of sickening cyber gore experimental bands of all!  Yeah there aren't too many, ASTRUM, GYNOPHAGIA, INTESTINAL SLAUGHTER, LIBIDO AIRBAG, MICROPHALLUS, they all rock my world! Erwin is might master of the industrial cyber-electonic journey into the horrors of the macabre fueled by hemp and a love for morbidity in general. No actual instruments, crazy dance-techno/blasts drum programs and some totally wicked cyber sounds peeped up with some totally eerie and bizarre sounds inserted for good measure. Vocals are pure distorted gurgles and growls rounding out the gory element along with the sick cyber sounds. It's so far out, many may not catch it right away but give SMES some time if you haven't checked it out yet and trust me it will grow on you almost immediately! This is what truly morbid industrial was meant to be and if things were normal, and humanity didn't suck ass, people would be cranking SMES in their car instead of MARYLIN MANSON! The hordes of trendy faggots that infest the streets may not know this but you and I    both do, and Fernando of BHP/Magazine does! Props for this incredible release! And he didn't just put out a CD-R like that, the packaging is a great presentation (you've probably read elsewhere how Fernando is art direct for many Lofty Storm releases among many other projects and how good they are!). Cover art is totally otherworldly horror metaphysical entities madness terror booga booga! Like the musical madness, psychadelic and horrific! Look at the back! It's some kind of chrome grey/glitter media with something truly bizarre, some kind inhuman mutant, alien fishfaced freak, imagine exploring some cavern and finding a race of them! Fucking wacked and so cool, the underground remains true to it's untrendy and individual roots but marches on into more freaked and strange territory! The genre of "Cyber Gore" makes me think of horror gore grind evolved into a sci fi/horror sound, it's too damn cool to pass up! All just makes me want to learn more about Erwin's twisted realms inside his head! -Cover by Maurits de Groot, back art by Steven Koster...
