T. P. Narayana Pisharosi was born on 7 July 1947 in Ticcur Village, Varavur Pancayatt, Thrissur District. Mother: Ticcur Pisharattil Parukutty Pisharasyar. Father: Kondayur Pisharatt Krishna Pisharodi. He joined Krishnattam Troupe as Music Section Trainee at the age of thirteen while stydying in eighth standard at Erumappetty High School. His training was under the teachers Asan Narayana Pisharodi and Asan Ikkantu Varrier. In 1969 he became a permanent employee. Shri Narayana Pisharodi became the Music Section Asan in 1983.
When Guuvayur Devaswom formed a committee to prepare an Attaprakaram for Krishnattam called Kramadipika, Shri Narayana Pisharodi was selected as a member. For his sincere effort for preparing Kramadipika along with the other members of the committee, Professor P.C. Vasudevan Elayath, Professor K. P. Narayana Pisharodi, Shri Kalamandalam Krishnankutty Poduval, Shri Kavungal Chattunny Panikkar and Shri L. S. Rajagopan, Guruvayur Devaswom honoured Shri Narayana Pisharodi by giving him Good Service Entry. Following the instruction of Guruvayur Devaswom, he also carried out the music direction aimed towards the Globalization of Narayaneeyam.
Shri Narayana Pisharodi was felicitated by Guruvayur Devaswom by offering him Ponnata and Prasasti Patram for his services in the field of Krishnanattam Music during the Krishnagiti Day celebration of 1988. Consequently in 1990 he was awarded the Manaveda Gold Medal and Prasasti Patram.
In 2000 Shri Narayana Pisharodi received the Pinchanchalam Award established to commemorate the famous Sanskrit Scholar and Krishnagiti commentator/translator, Prof. P.C. Vasudevan Elayath.
Shri Narayana Pisharodi has participated in many Krishnattam performances in various places in India as well as in U.S.A., England and other European countries. He also performs Krishnattam Music in Akashavani programmes.
