Graphics: 9 out of 10 Needless to say, the graphics in Mario Kart Double Dash amaze and entertain us all. There is not a glitch to be found in this smooth, clear and flawless game. The only way it could have been improved was if more focus has been placed on the animation of the characters. True, it is a racing game, and the characters aren't really what the game is about, but you don't get to see much in the way of the characters up close unless you finish a race. Music/Sound: 8 out of 10 I was overall pleased with the music and sound effects in this game. The tunes are catchy and very enjoyable to listen to, and help enhance your gaming experience. The sound effects are even better! They can be comical, exciting, and infuriating at time as you become sucked into the game. The characters entertain us all. Whether you are feeling sorry for yoshi as he crys after losing a race, or laughing with wario as he enthousiasticly says, "oooh yeah!", you will surely enjoy the sound effects in this action packed racing game. Difficulty: 6 out of 10 Mario Kart Double Dash is not a particularily difficult. I found it no more difficult than mario kart 64. The only area that gamers might have a bit of trouble with is 150CC when trying to earn secret stages, cars, or characters. To earn many things, gamers must place 1st, and at times, that may not be easy. Also, mirror mode may present a challenge to some. However, gamers can choose their own difficulty level, so it is their choice whether to play a tough mode or not. This is very convenient, because it allows both experts, and beginners to have a great gaming experience. Amount of Fun: 10 out of 10 This game is tons of fun! If you are looking for a fun time, gather three friends, and play a battle mode round of "sine theif". I can think of multiple times that game has left me laying on the ground in a fit of laugher, clutching my side, and gasping for breath. All versions versions of the battle mode and racing modes guarintee a good time. Overall: 8.25 out of 10 Mario Kart Double Dash is a thrilling and histerical game. I recommend it to anyone who likes to have fun...in otherwords, I recommend it to everyone. This has been my favorite mario kart yet (and if you are familiar with the mario kart series, you will know that they are a top quality series). I am confident that children young and old will enjoy it. I personally still enjoy it at the age of 14. I know people anywhere from ages 8-17 who have told me how much they loved it. So it truely is a game for everyone.
