This is a picture of me during one of the very first RITUALS events at club hell (very aptly named) in the Adams Morgan neighborhood of Washington, D.C. My friend Bryan and I started RITUALS as a forum for musical exploration, with a focus on rhythmic, tribal, darkambient, power electronics, experimental soundscapes, and other difficult or otherwise underappreciated styles. Last night (04.27.2000) marked our 30th week, and we're looking forward to many more! We use it to keep our enthusiasts apprised of special events, such as guest DJ appearances, artist / label spotlights, or relevant concert events.

Julie Foster on the left in the forefront, sitting with the mysterious Chris Abernathy. Chris disappeared off the face of the earth sometime last September, and I've been trying to track him down ever since. If you see this man, tell him to give me a shout!
