These pictures are mostly of pots, planters or hanging baskets although there are a few pictures that you can see the house or yard plants. Mom isn't much into planting pots anymore so it has become my job. We probably had 20 pots alone this summer, not counting planters or baskets!

I don't know why I love planting pots so much but I do. It's fun to try out different color and flower combinations and see how they turn out. Plus, I love collecting all kinds of cool pots!
Counter clockwise from above: Terra cotta ivy pot with black pansies; terra cotta butterfly pot with mini begonias; gray frog pot with black pansies; green angel pot with mini petunias; and terra cotta ivy pot with petunias and alyssum.

The flowers below are 4 hanging baskets I made with moss. I really like the way the moss looks peeking from the metal baskets. It's much more attractive than most of the plastic hanging baskets.
Clockwise from top left are: Pink trailing petunias; flowering tobacco & lobelia; daisies, alyssum & dusty miller; and mini begonias & lobelia.

Here are a few photos from the side of the house by mom's bedroom window. In the terra cotta pots and planters are petunias, nasturtiums and creeping jenny among other things; in the hanging baskets are geraniums. The tall green plants behind everything are blue delphiniums, and in front of them are orange lilies. The purple flowered bush on the end is a lilac. Everything in the flowerbed by the house was planted by mom several years ago. She also laid the stone pathway by hand. As you can see, the delphiniums are huge now, some are 6 feet or taller. And the lilies continue to spread and multiply each year.
