In the name of God, Amen. I, John Stover of Haines Township, County of Centre, and State of Pennsylvania, farmer, being weak in body, and of sound mind, memory and understanding, but considering the uncertainty of this transitory life, do make and publish this my last will and testament, in manner and form following, to wit:
First, it is my will and I so order, that all my just debts and funeral expenses be paid and satisfied, as soon as conveniently can be after my decease. And I bequeath unto my dearly beloved wife Christianna the sum of four hundred dollars and to have so much of the household furniture as she wants and the residue to be sold by my Executor and she to have the one third of all the grain raised on my farm during her natural life yearly and to have the privilege to remain in the house she now lives in during her natural life. My son Samuel to have the farm I now live on so long as my beloved wife lives and to give my said wife the one third of all that is raised on said farm yearly during her life and also to coop a case for my said wife and also to give my said wife a horse at any time she wants to go from farm and also to haul all her firewood to the door and cut it fit for burning in the stove. It is also my will that after the decease of my beloved wife as soon as convenient, it's my will that my said Executor to sell the farm I now live on to the best advantage by public sale and to give the purchaser a good and lawful deed and the proceeds from sale of the farm to be equally divided among my children as follows, namely to my son John Stover and to my son Andrew Stover and my son Daniel Stover and my son Samuel Stover and to my daughter Catherine intermarried with Frederick Hetzler and my daughter Elizabeth intermarried with Henry Moyer and to my daughter Magdelena intermarried with Philip Moyer. The money which I have paid to my said children which I hold notes for are to be an offset so that each of my said children shall share a part and the notes which I hold against my said children there is not to be any interest charged thereon. As to the farm where Andrew Stover my son lives, my Son Samuel is to farm one field of three acres which my said wife [illegible] to have the third what is raised thereon yearly during her life. The said land that Andrew Stover my son lives was bot for Andrew Stover and Thomas Stover my son, and said Thomas has since died and I have taken Thomas share to my self being I paid for the farm. It is also my

will that after the death of my beloved wife it is my will that my executor make good and lawful deed to the children of my son Andrew Stover of the one half of the land that Andrew [illegible] that is the share that belonged to Thomas Stover my son for the use of Andrew's wife and children during their natural lives, and the said Andrew Stover to pay the sum of five hundred and sixty dollars, the said sum to be an offset from his legacy from the proceeds from the farm I now live. And I do hereby make and order my [illegible] neighbor Jacob Hosterman Exquire Executor of this my last will and testament. In witness whereof I John Stover the testator have to this my will written on one sheet of paper set my hand and seal this the 9th day of June 1846.
