This is a portion of a map, engraved about 1660 by Joan Blaeu, during the time that our Stober ancestors lived in Staffort, Germany. It is a large image and may take a couple minutes to load. After it has finished loading, if you are having trouble finding "Staffurt" on the map, try this: locate Heydelberg near the middle of the section outlined in pink (approximately the center of the image) -- go to the southwest and locate Spier, sitting on the border of the sections outlined in pink and green -- go south along the line of this border into the green-outlined area where you will find Staffurt.
