each of us is unique
different from every other
there are no exceptions
it's what makes us human
because of this, none truly knows another
we can relate, but never really know
it's hard enough to try and begin to understand ourselves
there's so much about me I may never understand
so I don't want to hear that you think you know me
you don't know me
my thoughts go on, never ending
with nary an answer for me about me
you may see something I don't see
but you don't know me
I've been thinking with myself longer than anyone's been around me
I appreciate your thoughts about me
but I don't want to hear that you think you know me
you don't know me
I often surprise my own self
could you have predicted it?
my actions don't always convey my true self
only my thoughts and soul are the real me
don't worry about trying to know me
concentrate on learning about yourself
it is truly a lifelong process
let's just live our lives
and try to figure ourselves out together
