in this age of e'er-increasing technology, I see a time not too far in the future in which people will wish to go back to the basics... the kids of today will know nothing of the simple times of years past and will one day wish to experience the simplicity their parents speak of... like sitting in front of a tele'ision for hours on end, there will be a need to get away from it all, to write a personal letter rather than e-mail, to walk one or two miles rather than dri'e it, to read a book rather than surf the internet or watch tele'ision, to experience life rather than see it displayed on a monitor... we''e all felt like this at one point or another... I know I ha'e and the age of technology is just beginning... or is it just beginning to end?... I''e wished it to be simple as my parents described it was like years ago... I'm not saying I'm totally against technology... it has its ad'antages in all areas... but it has complicated many things and has drawn our attention away from the important things in life... all our spare time is spent watching t', playing computer games, or filling out forms for something or other when we should be spending time with family, reading a book, or taking a walk and just thinking... it's hard doing these things in this e'er-increasingly complicated world... I belie'e most people, at least deep down, feel the same way... so I belie'e one day there will be a large-scale shift away from technology to a simpler lifestyle... and it's coming sooner than we may think...
