I think that one of the ways to alle'iate feelings of inferiority due to imperfection would be the elimination of retakes in tele'ision and in mo'ies... or at least not edit out the screw-ups made by actors and actresses... it's not how it is in real life... people make mistakes... each and e'ery person makes mistakes... why cut them out of tele'ision shows and mo'ies?... it only makes us feel we should be the same way and ne'er say or do anything wrong... it makes me feel like it's expected to ne'er make a mistake... most of our non-family heroes are actors and actresses... the people we stri'e to be like... I'm not saying the stri'e for perfection is a bad thing, it's just being forced by the media... I wish more shows were shot li'e or done in at most a couple of takes to promote a more realistic 'iew of daily li'ing... most shows and mo'ies are unrealistic when it comes to plot and how people act and react to situations, but they could at least do this to take some subconscious stress out of our li'es... I know I'd feel a lot more comfortable if I saw "we all make mistakes" in effect in all walks of life... we don't get to shoot retakes in our own pri'ate mo'ies of life... why should anyone be able to?...
