search for luminosity... Search for Luminosity

I've lost my Moon behind the trees of her confusion as I journey through the forest of but one part of this quest called life
I enter with conviction and clarity of soul hoping to find her brilliant light in the dimly lit starry sky at the end of the rocky path
the stars are many and bright in their own ways, but none compare to her beauty and luminescence
I tread on, barefoot, sharp pebbles knifing into my pale unweathered feet and I feel the pain of all
I shed a tear for suffering
I walk on, frail but unafraid, for who knows how far, time and distance pass on unnoticed
finally, up ahead, the end in sight
as I reach it I search the sky for her unequalled light and feel a tinge of disappointment at not seeing her there
but the view is beautiful and I feel an independence and I know I'll be fine alone, at least for a while
so I bid farewell and head back, a bit of hope lost, but faith in myself alive
I take the journey back and realize my next journey for her may be long away, but the faith will help me survive
will she be there next time?
will she ever be there waiting for me?
time and faith will tell
