I tread the path between hope and despair
the road curves, I walk straight
I am afraid of nothing but my future, love
I'm not gonna just follow the road
I take my emotions with a grain of salt
let 'em push my thoughts around and around, up and down
and they do
my emotions drive my whole being
is that not what they're there for?
