In-Depth Analysis of the
Golden Globe Director Nominations

<< Golden Globes Page Analysis Page >>

Research Question : Are the Golden Globe Nominations for Best Director good indicators for the upcoming Oscar Nominations for Best Picture, Best Director and Best Screenplay?

Why is it so bad? The Golden Globes always nominate directors who allready received Oscar nominations, while the Director's Branche of the Academy (unlike the other branches) tends to nominate new talent. That could be an explanation.

Year = Oscar nominee ; = Not an Oscar nominee
