Sijmen's List of Classics March 5, 2009 Sijmen's List of Mainstream Classics wants to list the greatest classics year by year, as an alternative for the sometimes mediocre Academy Award's best picture nominations. Since the list strives to be a sort of résumé of cinematic history, it includes as much genres, countries and trends as possible. And now Sijmen and his jury decided on The Classics of 2008! Enjoy!

Sijmen's Banane d'Or 2008 January 4, 2009 You will never read from them in the papers, since the Banane d'Or management wants to stay far away from all the usual media hoopla. Nevertheless, this little Begian award has grown to become the industry's highest honor. This is probably the only website out there that has all the winners since the award's first year in 1990!
