"Life isn't a fairy tale,"
I had heard long ago,
There are no "happily ever after's"
Only pain and sorrow...

I thought I'd found something real,
Something that would last,
But I was just a fool
For not remembering the past

And because I didn't remember,
All the pain that I went through,
I was doomed to repeat it,
To begin again, anew

And now I say good-bye
To hopes, dreams, and wishes,

Because, now I know for sure that
Life isn't a fairy tale...
