My emotions are jumbled,
My feelings are confused,
And my heart is torn...

Part of my heart wishes for the past,
Part of my heart wishes for the future,
While the whole wishes just to be loved...

I need to let go of the past,
In order to move on with the future,
But something unknown keeps me holding on...

I wish I knew what to do,
I wish I knew for sure what I felt,
And I wish I knew how things will turn out...

And lastly I wish I knew for sure
That I do truly want the future,
Instead of the past or the present...

But since I don't, I can only wait,
And hope things become clear soon...
