My Background

I began riding at the age of six. I was very fortunate to grow up with two wonderful trainers, Jim and Sharon Rowe. From them I learned to treat the horse with respect and kindness. To never blame the horse when I didn't get the desired result, but to look to myself for what was missing in my communication with the horse. Above all, to have patience and never act out of anger toward the horse. I owe more to Jim and Sharon Rowe than I could ever repay. Their voices still ring in my ears whenever I ride or work with horses. Lessons well taught by them that never leave my mind. Lessons that I pass on to my students. Thank you, Jim and Sharon for sharing your extensive knowledge and talents.
