| Artist's Statement ...an old hippie specimen, livin in the desert, livin with my wife, I like to listen to the birds, and twiddle my thumbs with a revolutionary fervour. I loved my cat Maat so much but now she's gone to the big cat playland in the sky I write about the impossible cuz if I don't, who will? My poet mentor, Philip Lamantia, once told me that I "must be completely arbitrary" and that "you cannot know what it was like to be a surrealist in the 20's"...
