"Taylor, no!" I demanded as he pulled me along. "Oh come on, don't you trust me?" he smiled. I hesitated. "Maybe not when you're in this mood," I considered. "Oh come on!" he practically whined, stopping for a second. I raised my eyebrows. Then he did something I never dreamed he'd do... he got down on his knees and actually begged. "Please, please, pretty please?" he went on, putting on a puppy-dog look. "Taylor..." I moaned. "You don't want Amy to be the only girl up there do you?" he asked me. "That's if you get her up there in the first place," I pointed out. "Zac's working on it," he replied. "Oh great. She'll definately do it if he asks her," I said. "And what if I asked you?" Taylor put on a sad look. I laughed.

I dunno," I replied. He sighed. "Fine," he got up and walked off. I remained where I was. He quickly turned back. "PLEASE?!" he begged. I cracked up. "We'll see," I replied. "Yes!" he exclaimed to himself, as he walked off. "No promises!" I called after him. He didn't turn back. I sighed, then began walking back down the street. What was I getting myself into? I hit myself on the head (sure no one was watching). I knew exactly what I was getting myself into.

The next day, I got a lift to Amy's house. Zac was there, and so was Isaac. "Hey! Come in, we were just going over some stuff," she said as she let me in. "Hey Zac, Isaac," I nodded to them. "Hey," they replied. "So where's Taylor?" I asked. "He stayed back, he needed to do something," Isaac replied. I nodded. I took Amy into her room.

"Did Zac ask you something yet?" I asked her. "Ah... yeah," she replied, looking away. "What did you say?" I demanded. "I said 'yes'," she replied. I sighed. "Oh man, I do not want to do this," I moaned. "Neither do I," she said. "So why did you agree then?" I asked her. "Cause, you know..." she began. I nodded, "I know, because Zac asked you, that's why," i said for her. "It is not!" she protested. "Yeah sure, whatever..." I left the room, and went back to the boys.

"Alright, what exactly do you want us to do?" I demanded, folding my arms across my chest as if I was fed up. "What?" Zac looked confused. "You know exactly what I'm talking about," I told him, as Amy joined me. Isaac glanced at his brother. "Oh, that..." Zac pretended to remember. I raised my eyebrows. "Well you know, we thought it would be a cool idea just to, get up and talk about it," he explained with an innocent face. I noticed the look on Isaac's face. "So was this a joint decision? Or was it just between you and Taylor? Cos from what I'm seeing on Isaac's face, he doesn't know anything about it," I was talking like I was pissed off. I realised I didn't really have a reason to be, but I was definately annoyed.

"We were gonna tell him - if you agreed," Zac admitted. The doorbell rang. Amy went to answer it. Seconds later, Taylor came into the room. Isaac had stood up. "Hold it mister... you're in trouble," he said to him. "What for?" Taylor asked, glancing at me as if to say 'hi'. "I don't know, you tell me," Isaac told him. Taylor glanced at the rest of us, wondering what was going on. Zac broke the silence. "We asked them to come onstage with us at the next concert, to talk about what happened," he explained. Isaac hesitated. "And you were going to tell me this when?" he asked. "When they agreed," Zac replied. Taylor had his hands in his pockets trying to avoid the number of looks both he and Zac were getting. "And what if we didn't agree?" I demanded. "Well, we knew that wasn't going to happen," Zac chuckled, catching my eyes for less than half a second. "I never said I would," I informed him. He went silent.

The next afternoon, the five of us were at my place playing truth or dare... "When was the last time you cried?" Amy asked. "That's easy, last Tuesday. He cries every Tuesday," Taylor replied. "Only because he visits the graveyard every Tuesday," Zac pointed out. "I have my reasons," Isaac replied. "Isaac, man, you've got to let go sometime. You're like obsessed with her now," Taylor told him. Isaac remained silent. Taylor hesitated for a moment, then sighed. "Ah, it's your turn," Amy told Isaac. He thought for a second, then looked at Taylor. "What were you thinking the moment they told you they'd given you a tracker?" he asked. Taylor glanced at him for a second and hesitated again. "I, ah, I honestly thought that, right then, that they were going to kill me, and then I had no way out of it that time," he replied solemnly. Zac put his hand on his shoulder. "I know the feeling," he almost whispered. I just watched them. Zac glanced at me, then removed his hand.

"Can we please change the subject? I'm sure I'm not the only one who's trying to forget what happened," Amy pleaded with us. "Good idea. Umm... ok. What's your worst fear?" Taylor asked, looking at me. I chuckled. "Ah, I actually don't know this one... honestly. Probably of dying? I don't know," I replied. "Not of bugs or anything?" Zac grinned. "Well, I get about a thousand spiders in my room each year, especially when the huntsmans have babies. And I've had a cockroach crawl over my ankles in the middle of the night before, so..." I left him to decide. "Gross!" Amy exclaimed. "We know how much you like creepy-crawlies," Isaac grinned at her. "Well Amy, they do say that the average person swallows about eight spiders a night," I grinned. "Yuk," she replied. "Well we all know that Amy isn't average anyway, she's insane," Taylor laughed. "Good point," I grinned, as we caught each other's gaze.

"Well, I think we should be going... Taylor," Isaac began. "Ah, yeah. Yeah... Umm, what time are we going tomorrow?" he asked, snapping back to attention. "Well what time do we have to be there?" Amy asked. "Definately by noon," Isaac replied. "So about eleven then, huh?" Amy suggested. "Sure, we'll pick you up at Amy's," Zac replied. "Oh man. That means I have to get up early," I complained. "Ten-thirty isn't early," Amy scolded. "Is to me," I replied. Isaac and Taylor chuckled as they headed for the door. "We'll see you in the morning then," Isaac called as they left. They went in Isaac's new car, which they'd bought for using whenever they stayed near us. I wanted it, badly. It drove like a dream too, talking from experience about a week or so before.
