the grupe was formed in 1994 in san jose california by steve. He was jammin with old friend kevin,then along came greg and paul... the quartet recorded a few songs and got them on the radio they found a hit with "walkin on the sun" wich came out in 1997. The grupe got signed with interscope...before "walking on the sun" became the number one modern rock hit then they pushed the album into the top 40. then came Astro lounge.."Allstar" was an instant hit...the album is made of mostly older material...
