Yes, things
are different here. After nearly four years, I have
significantly scaled back my (Jason's) role on GSNN. If
you're a regular viewer, you've undoubtedly noticed that the
InfoHub has gotten smaller and smaller, and -- yes --
smaller. I want everyone reading this to know that GSNN
is not going anywhere. But most of the work will be done
on our DaytimeHub and RealityHub.
When I started this site -- alone -- in November 1999, it was at
the beginning of the prime time game show revolution. But
now all the shows I started this site to cover are gone -- or more
appropriately, in reruns on GSN! Also gone, quite frankly,
is my spare time. But keep using the InfoHub for its short
URL: http://www.stormseeker.com/games/
and for a jumping off point for our other hubs. And I'll
still post big news here from time to time, but I can't promise
it'll be timely.
There may come a time when the InfoHub will be fully functional
again. In the meantime, Gordon, Chico, and everyone else
who works so hard to make the DaytimeHub and RealityHub great
are still going to be doing their work...and this page is still
going to be here. I want to thank them for their
work...really they've been more a part of keeping this site going
in the last year than I have. I've dropped the ball and
that's why I feel I need to explain myself.
For those of you who have been with me since the beginning, thank
you! I can still be reached with the email link at the top
of the page, and would love to hear from you.
I really have had the chance to speak to a lot of great people
these last four years -- many of whom I really wish I could meet
in person. All the contestants from "Greed,"
"Twenty One," and "Millionaire" who I got to
talk to back in 2000 especially, with a few special shouts to Ben
Tritle, Bob Harris, and Phyllis Harris, plus the Greed team of Dan
Avila, Melissa Skirboll, and Curtis Warren.
I know this sounds like a "closing down the site"
message, which it's not. But it is kind of a semi-farewell
message from me as I scale back even more. Thanks for
visiting, and please keep visiting, especially our Hub
sites. I'll throw some morsels on here as well,
including (at least for now) our celebrity lists and ratings when
I can.
