Pride of Knockmore, Lisburn 2003


Pride of Knockmore hosted an excellent parade last Friday with a large number of bands and supporters in attendance. Good to see melody bands such as Lisburn Young Defenders, Skeogh, Pride of the Raven and Ballylesson all in attendance. The band went pretty well but it was hard to hear sometimes as bands were meeting each other in parts of the parade. Not much band craic as no one hung around, in particular Alec, after the parade but Simon in Frenchies made me and Jim turn our polo shirts inside out as they were offending the customers. What annoyed me was Ray didn't have to turn his Leeds shirt inside out and it was offending everyone he came into contact with. Anyway it went pretty well result wise for the band picking up 7 firsts.
