Drumderg 2003

The band travelled up the road to Ballynahinch to attend Ballynahinch Protestant Boy's 3rd annual parade. Excellent turnout of over 40 bands this year. No colour party out tonight with around 18 fluters but the band played with a good sharp pace through the town and tried out a few new tunes. According to Albert and his 'last car home' brigade of Albert, nibby, nibby junior, pue and trimbleino the craic was mighty in the Latern Bar where a feast of ales was had with the Castlederg Lads while Trimmble invented a new language 'Sculster Otts'. Didn't hear any results but I think we won Melody Flute and Melody Drum Corps. Brunswick won Senior Drum Major.
