Flash Back to June 21, 1971. Somewhere in New Jersey at sometime throughout that day, a woman named Dana was in labor. She gave birth to a little baby boy and Named him Jeordie Francis White. This boy, Now 30, grew up to be the Infamous Marilyn Manson Bassists Twiggy Ramirez.
How did this young boy grow up to be such a well known man in a dress?
Sometime growing up his mom, who was said to be a go go dancer, moved this young boy to florida. Even as a young child he enjoyed having long hair and was said to of even gotten suspended in elementary school for exposing himself after all the boys teased him for the long hair claiming he was a girl. Twiggy Never did grow out of the long hair stage, or even exposing himself for that matter. Sometime growing up he got into music. Influenced by bands such as Iron Maiden, W.a.S.p, Quiet Riot, Black Sabbath, Kiss, and all those other metal bands of the time Jeordie himself Started getting into music. Eventually he joined a South Florida metal band called "amboog-a-lard" in which he originally played rhythm and then the Bass guitar. That band even won an award at the Florida Slammy awards in 1992. Around that Same time Jeordie white had come to know the Band he would soon join called Marilyn Manson and the Spookykids. In December of 1993 the Old Bassist, Gidget Gein, had been removed from the band due to the fact that his drug addiction was more important than music. Jeordie white transformed from his jean wearing, long hair, metal playing self into Twiggy Ramirez, Fag Bass, Fluff, and dress wearing bassist for Marilyn Manson and the Spooky kids.
Twiggy Ramirez, as with all the other Marilyn Manson members, was a name created from a famous female character and an infamous male serial killer. Jeordie chose Twiggy after the model/actress/singer Twiggy because she was like him, androgynous. Skinny and dressed almost like the opposite sex but beautiful on it's own Twiggy was a perfect fit for the first of Jeordie's new name. Richard Ramirez created the last part of the new Jeordie white. A serial killer known as the "night stalker" because he would sneak into peoples houses at night, sometimes just for fun. From that day on Jeordie Francis White has become known as Twiggy Ramirez, forever and always. He has been a member of Marilyn Manson since December of 1993 and will hopefully remain for quite a while. Usually he is always by the side of the leader of the Group Marilyn Manson and is living in California in a nice little house with a Car that doesn't work (which is ok since he doesn't drive) and a Master P. Bling Bling swimming pool. |
