Boone Trail Corvette Club from St. Charles rented the track for an event in October, 1977, that led to many other Corvette events there. This one was officially an autocross, having only a low-speed event sanction. so they started us from a standing start, threw a few pylons in to slow us down before the finish, and called it an autocross. It was a great time, and my first track time. I wish I had taken more pictures.
