Good afternoon, class. I am Professor Sumner. Welcome to Muggle Studies! I would like to begin by pointing out how pleased I am that you take such interest in the Muggle world. Now, then, moving right along. Muggles, of course, must have forms of entertainment. Please turn in your books to page 13. Page 13: The telephone is one of the more important forms of communication in the Muggle world. It's simple to use! All a Muggle does is pick it up and press a number (different numbers are assigned to each residence) and wait for their contact to pick up their phone. When there is an incoming "call", the phone makes a ringing sound. The Muggle will then pick it up and talk to their friend. Now, then, homework... Please explain, in a paragraph or two, other uses for a telephone. I will expect this in one week. Please include your name and House. Good-bye, class! (Email your homework to PePPyGuRLy02@aol.com) |
