I remember when I attended my first Tuesday night Access back on July 10 of 2000. I had just moved back to Jacksonville from Charleston SC, and started attending my old church Mandarin UMC when Kathy Day wanted to check out this access thing that happened somewhere on Baymeadows behind some gym. She heard it was great, but didn't want to attend by herself. So I joined her, and it was the most Jesus exhilarating moment of my life. I was warmly welcomed by everyone from the moment I arrived and felt like I always belonged. Since then Access has become known as Access218 and with the church Crossroad Church has moved to Gate Pkwy. It was through Access218 that Jesus was able to reach me in the places that I had wounds that I had forgotten about and he healed them.
