Your hands were so tiny
But touched so many lives
Your feet, so petite
Yet left footprints all over our heart
Your voice, childlike in its sound
But your words sincere and innocent
Your smile lit up your face
And radiated love to all
Your laughter and giggles
Kept our hearts full of joy
Your faith in God
Kept us all humble
Your prayers at night
Included all you held dear
Your delight in each new day
Gave us renewed hope
Your uncomplicated ways
Gave us new understanding
Your child's view of life
Made us look twice
Your tears of sadness
Allowed us to protect you, shelter you
You were God's child from the start
Kissed by an angel all your own
You defied all the odds
And fought each new battle with
Your own special strength
The same strength you portrayed
When God called Mommy and Daddy
And Mom-mom home
You are our Angel
You will be sadly missed
But your body is new and healthy
And you are in Mommy's arms once more
You will remain my special friend
You are in my heart
You are part of my soul
You are the best part of me
And you will be alive to me always
When I watch the Wizard of Oz, you are with me
When the Judds sing, we will sing along
The theme from Blues Clues will always remind me of you
Seek-A-Words that I helped you with
The kareoke machine we sang with
Slim Jim's and Skittles
Christmas time and Santa Clause
Coloring me your finest creations
With your coloring book and crayons
When I see a new day, you will be in the clouds
When the breeze blows across my face, it is your kiss I'll feel
And when I pray, I will thank God
For giving me you...
And allowing our world to be enriched with your presence...

For Daneene
My Special friend
I will always love you..
