| Let go...and Let God Let go and let God.. What a wonderful saying to live by. I even have it framed at home. But easier said..I know..I've tried! I go through this world each day. Same as each of you do. Troubles and heartaches all around. Same old stuff, often something new. I will pace and I will fret. I will figure out something, I'm sure. Smoke another cigarette. See how much I can endure. Maybe I will call up some friends. Surely they will know what to do? Each one offers a good solution. But they all say the same thing..nothing new. Heck far, nothing is turning out right! Where else can I go? I've worked myself up in a frenzy now. The answer is coming too slow! Ok, God...maybe you can help me. What else can I do? I've worn myself out over this. Now it's all up to You. I kneel and pray, unloading this burden. This feels like it might just work. Take it all from me, Lord Jesus. Before I go berserk! I get up from my knees. Not quite as heavy as before. I will let go and let God. My faith in you, Lord, forever and ever more. Debbie Stipes February 2006 |
