This is not a competition, everyone is invited to participate, but carving wood is limited so sign up early.

All participants will go home with a “finished” carving.

Plus, we will have a drawing of round robin participant’s names and two will each receive a $25 gift certificate.

Each carver will be given a block. They will put their initials on the bottom and start carving on the block for a predetermined time period, 60 minutes divided by the number of participants. For 10 participants, that would be 6 minutes each. At the end of the 6 minutes, the block will be passed to the carver on your right and they will have another 6 minutes, etc. until the block has been returned to the originator. Whatever you started the “carving subject” as; it most likely will get back to you as something very different.

The originator will have 2 minutes to clean it up. Then we will pass the carving to the right once again and have all participants sign the carving.

You go home with a “finished and signed” original carving and perhaps a one year subscription to Carving Magazine also.
