In front of you there stands a portal of swirling light blues and greens. It beckons you forward into it, and for some reason you stride forward with a feeling of curiosity and fear. As you push your hand forward into it a feeling of electrified pain shoots through your body. Upon trying to remove your hand from such horrible pain a slight tug pulls it further in and stops. The pain ceases and then just as you start to back off a force in power the like of which you have never encountered jerks you completely through. As you close your eyes to give them some protection from the unknowns that lie ahead a strong gale of winds that smells of fresh rain blows across your entire body. As quick as it came it has now gone and you open your eyes to face the unknown. A valley of green grasses and pine trees unveils itself to you. Fog tops the gently rolling contours of the valley and brings with it small droplets of rain. Nothing moves but a slight breeze as it encompasses you bringing with it some comfort and familiarity. Off in the distance among a large clumping of tall red barked trees you see a lone figure staring down at you from his perch high on the side of the valley. He holds a short bow down by his right side, and short sword on his left side sheathed in a scabbard of brown animal hide. His hair is light brown and hangs loosely over his shoulders. He takes a single arrow from is quiver, lifts his bow, and draws the arrow back. It would seem now that your fears have come true as he is aiming right at you. In a moment of fear and shear instinct you fall to the ground just as the arrow flies overhead. Then from behind you there is a loud roar that seems riddled with pain and anger. As you look over your shoulder you see his true target. Behind you there stands a brown bear. The bear towers over you for it stretches 18 feet into the air. As you realize this is no normal bear and see that one arrow has done nothing more than anger it you jump to your feet and start to run as quickly as your legs will take you. At that moment the sound of a large heavy object moving through the air is heard. Try as you might you cannot tell why you look back but you do. Turning your heard you see the paw of the bear just as it strikes you on the shoulder, neck, and head all at once. As quickly as it hit you see red. No pain accompanies the strike but a darkening red does. The force of the hit was so great that if not for a tree to your side you might have never stopped moving through the air. As you slam into the tree and fall to the ground with a thud the red you now see has darkened to near black. Soon all is gone and all you see is darkness.
