A CURE
When life seems to get you down
And nothing ever goes just right,
When life feels full of sorrow
And you long for days that are bright.
I’ll give you a cure that really works,
One that is tried and proved true.
Just look around at other folks
And you'll find some worse than you.
Find ways of helping others
Who are in greater sorrow or pain,
Do some unselfish, kindly deed
That puts a smile on their face again.
Look for ways to cheer a friend,
Lend a fellow a helping hand,
Say a word of comfort or praise.
The deed need not be big or grand.
Just loose yourself in service,
Some act, either great or small,
Will help your fellow men,
But it will help you most of all.
