Wonder and Awe

When I think of what absolutely baffles me, it is one band, five twenty-something guys, four instruments, one voice, and about twenty thousand people watching every movement. I experience such a magnified wonder of what is happening. How can five guys entertain twenty thousand people without having anything in common with them except for a sense of musical taste. Two different forms of wonder hit me at the same time. I gasp at the beauty of the situation; dirt, sweat, blood, and about a hundred and twenty degrees of blazing heat, yet there is not a place where more people enjoy themselves. I also am struck with a curiosity. How can this happen? What could possibly make five regular guys with a passion have the potential to unite an entire crowd of people? I am wonder-struck by the power of music in our lives.
