This web site is devoted to my Ackroyd family history. Information will be added as I continue my research. I hope that this site will aid others in their search for their roots, and perhaps further my search. I also included links to sites that I used in my research.

The above photo was taken circa 1916 probably in MA. Known individuals in the photo are: William Ackroyd upper right corner, Grace Deacon Ackroyd middle right, Lucille Ackroyd (girl in top middle row with bow), Ralph Ackroyd next to his mother Grace (boy in white shirt, short pants), George Ackroyd (older boy on the floor on the right), Ralph Daniels left of William Ackroyd and Alma Daniels left of Grace, and George Deacon (older gentleman in the middle). Others unknown presumably members of the Deacon family. This is a copy of a photo which survived many family moves. Unfortunately, the original did not survive Hurricane Andrew's fury when it struck Homestead, FL.
