| Virtual Combat (1996) Cast:Don "The Dragon" Wilson,Loren Avedon,Athena Massey,Michael Bernardo,Larry Poindexter,Stella Stevens. Well below-par science fiction/action entry about two martial artists who must tackle a virtual killer/martial artist. Simply put Virtual Combat is awful. It lacks wit, pace, special effects and a decent script. Unlike Virtual Assassin this one doesn't have any dumb action or fun villians making the movie a bore that makes very little sense. Despite one exciting action scene (The showdown) The movie is hopeless which keeps you thinking it won't get any worse but it always does. Not to mention the fact that Loren Avedon,Stella Stevens and Athena Massey are wasted. Even by Don Wilson's low standards this movie is incredible in it's own badness.. D Andrew Stevens *1/2 |
