| The Target (2003) Cast:Christopher Lambert,Dennis Hopper Lambert stars as an assassin who is hired to protect a lawyer (Hopper) from the mob when he is set to testify against them in this jaw droppingly routine actioner which has a few good ideas but fails to really deliver on any of it's potentional plot threads which makes this only for Lambert fans. Christopher Lambert is far from the worst actionstar in the market but the man has seen better days, here he gives a strong performance as does Hopper but the script is too lackluster and ludicrious to give the two stars anything to work with. Still though, it's worth it just to see Dennis Hopper smoke a joint with a goat (!) which will provide a moment yours truly will long remember. D.Jean-Pierre Roux ** |
