| Tango & Cash (1989) Cast:Sylvester Stallone,Kurt Russell,Teri Hatcher,Jack Palance I'm not 100% sure if this was intended as a parody or as a straight up actioner but the movie contains two rival cops who team up to take down a mobster who needs to kill them in a complicated way, whatever the case may be, Tango & Cash is enjoyable for those who go in expecting lots of fireballs and shootouts but i'm still confused whether the movie is enjoyable for being so bad it's good or being a parody. I have absoluately no idea. Although one observation is the overall homoerotic edge to this film, Stallone and Russell talk about each other's penises and even look at each other during a shower scene. What on earth? I'm not going to even get into the scene where Russell is in drag, however that observation aside, Tango & Cash is without a doubt one of the dumber movies Stallone ever made. (Yeah it's dumber than Rambo III) That being said I did find it fairly amusing and some of the actionscenes are rather well put together, i'm just not sure if the reason why it's entertaining is what the filmmakers have in mind.
