| Spawn (1997) Cast:Michael Jai White,John Leguizamo,Martin Sheen,D.B Sweeney,Nicol Williamson,Theresa Randle "Spawn" is the ultimate comicbook movie. With some good special FX and a tounge in cheek script "Spawn" is flat out enjoyable and fun. Like Dolph Lundgren's The Punisher Spawn features excellent actionscenes and decent acting (If not too over the top) Like The Punisher this adaption is very underrated. All the computer geeks complain about both of these adaptions endlessly but you can be rest assured that these geeks are flat out dumb. Spawn has White coming back from hell to avenge his death and then he learns that if he does kill his enemy (Sheen) he will open up the gates of hell. This action/horror combo makes for a real treat and even though the story is the usual mumbo jumbo a sense of style makes the film fun for fans of the comicbook and action movies all together.
