| Out For A Kill (2003) Cast:Steven Seagal,Michelle Goh, Corey Johnson Steven Seagal stars as Robert Burns a professor who turns vigilante after the death of his wife whom was killed by the Yakuza, in this incoherent and dull actioner which fails to inject any life in the proceedings of this junk. During the credits one knows they are in trouble when a beginning shootout turns into a rip off of The Replacement Killers. And how about that lame title? Every Seagal fan knows that Out For Justice and Hard To Kill are movies he made and that fans seem to enjoy. (I actually really enjoy Out For Justice) So Out For A Kill is a recycled title from those previous movies. They screw up royally since Out For A Kill is just an awful title. Truly wouldn't Out For A Killing or Out For The Kill sound much more interesting? But then again observing how sloppy this movie is, one must assume that it never crossed the producer's minds. When it comes down to the material, the title is probably the best thing about it. Sad. I hate this movie, I hate this movie with every might of my being. I seriously, absoluately despise this movie. I would rather watch socks spin around in the washing machine than see this god-awful train wreck again. Overall Out For A Kill is a terrible movie plain and simple with no real redeeming value. The one bright spot is that Seagal looks less fat then he did in The Foreigner, meaning he can actually may start making movies for Warner Bros.again. Let's hope so because of this is the best he can do, Seagal is better off killing his career. Back in 1972 Last House On The Left had a tagline, "Repeat to yourself, it's only a movie, it's only a movie." My tagline for this movie is.. Don't see this movie. Don't see this movie.
