| The One (2001) Cast:Jet Li,Delroy Lindo,Carla Gugino Never has a title matched so perfect with the rating. Jet Li stars as a thug out to be the one,In order to do this he has to kill himself in different universes,so he travels through and through to kill the good Jet Li. Incredibly tedious and dull, sitting through The One is like watching a videogame that you have no control of. At times The One is so in your face obnoxious it just feels like the movie never ends and when it finally ends one walks out numb as if someone has just hit them on the head. Where as the movie is dumb enough to be fun this is just Headache inducing. Furthermore an incoherent plot and a script missing in action make this one,well one to avoid. The second (And most disappointing) thing is the action scenes lack dash and spirit making the movie a witless bore. Jet Li gives what has to be his worst performance as the good Jet Li. and this could be the worst Jet Li movie ever. It's a wonder how much money can go into something so emptyhanded and superficial.
