Moving Target (2000) Cast:Don"The Dragon" Wilson,Bill Murphy Don"The Dragon" Wilson stars in this uncredited remake to BloodfistIV: Die Trying As Wilson finds himself on the run from terrorists who want to get a special device back from him and are using blackmail. Standard movie with only a few arresting actionscenes that relieve the tedium. Why they remade Bloodfist IV is mindboggling, the original movie, while enjoyable is not exactly fodder for a remake, and alas if you have seen Bloodfist IV, you will probally be disappointed with Moving Target since for the most part it's the same movie with NOTHING different, but at least the action is imaginative and entertaining, so it's not a total waste. And hey it could be worse they could have remade Bloodfist VI, or did they do that in Terminal Rush, oh the horror! "Moving Target" is credible......Don "The Dragon" Wilson has always been fun to watch and "Moving Target" benefits from Wilson's martial artistry. However the movie is flawed, the dialog ranges from decent to awful mostly bad. Still actionmovie fanatics will find something worthwhile here, keep in mind for those who haven't seen Bloodfist IV that is, most haven't. So I recommend it because it's a cut above most actionflicks that came out in 2001, but then again with contenders like Agent Red and American Outlaws, mabie it's just me thankful that this wasn't as bad as it could have been.**1/2 D.Paul Ziller |
