| Luck Of The Draw (2001) Cast:Dennis Hopper,Eric Roberts,Sasha Mitchell,William Forsythe, Patrick Kilpatrick,James Marshall,Michael Madsen, Ice-T Luck Of The Draw is a movie in the vein of True Romance lacking it's overall spark and witty chemistry of all the actors, Luck Of The Draw is indeed trite but the cast is game and for the most part the movie is at least mildly diverting. Kickboxing fans are bound to be drawn to this movie since it has Eric Roberts from the Best Of The Best movies as well as Sasha Mitchell from the Kickboxer sequels, add in genre vets that include Ice-T,Madsen, Hopper and Kilpatrick, all you need is Treat Williams and Michael Dudikoff and you'd have the B.movie ensemble of the decade, as it stands watching the interesting cast (Sasha Mitchell and Eric Roberts have always been underrated and they have the best moments of the movie) is certainly fun enough, but the whole story lacks form and half of the time things don't make sense and run together rather badly. Aside from Marshall's typically terrible performance, poor script and mediocre actionscenes Roberts,Hopper and Mitchell provide the only real show here.
