| The Human Shield (1992) Cast:Michael Dudikoff,Tommy Hinkley Yet another Below-par actioner that has an arab terrorist tormenting an american in order to lead his brother in to saving him and getting revenge.. Dudikoff is a good on screen fighter but he shows very little emotion for a man who's brother is in peril, Plus the scenes of emotion are tarnished by a coldblooded feeling. A movie like this depends on tight pacing and good actionscenes The Human Shield has none, it's just a by the numbers excercise in tedium, the explosions are lackluster and Dudikoff looks glum. Not completely unwatchable but the climax is a let down, and the movie itself is still strictly below par. Infact you may be the one who needs a human shield from this movie, and if you can make it through the tedious movie without once squirming you are probally in a coma. D.Ted Post *1/2 |
