| Hitman's Run (1999) Cast:Eric Roberts,C.Thomas Howell,Damian Chapa,Robert Miao An interesting first half quickly degenerates into a routine "hitman on the run thriller" with Roberts as a hitman who must find a computer disc from a kid who has cracked the witness protection agency secret identity list in this dumb but watchable actioner. Both Eric Roberts and C. Thomas Howell have seen better days and for a movie directed by Mark L. Lester (The guy behind Class Of 1984, Commando and Showdown In Little Tokyo, three very gory actioners) one is somewhat surprised at how tame Hitman's Run is. Still though Chapa is satisfactory in the villian role and some of the action is reasonably well staged making this essential to fans of Eric Roberts others though are better off renting something else.
